Jason Pace
Jason has been shipping business software since 1984 — paid dBase III work at fourteen, his first technology consulting company at seventeen. In the four decades since, he's mostly sat where our clients sit: IT director scaling a retailer from seven locations to nearly a hundred, COO of a fifty-year-old manufacturer (including replacing its decades-old ERP), sales leadership at Oracle, growth roles at a string of startups — and most recently, full P&L ownership of a business unit at a national business-services firm, serving multi-unit operators: franchise systems, restaurant groups, and retail chains.
He works from the builder's chair, not the analyst's. The agents, local models, and open-source systems Pace recommends are the ones Jason builds with daily — which is also why he doesn't buy hype. He's watched every technology wave since the PC; AI is the biggest shift he's seen, and the most oversold. Pace exists to tell the difference, and to build the part that's real.
Jason is also a Certified System & Soul™ Coach. Forty years in operations taught him the oldest lesson in the book: technology can't fix a badly designed business — but it can multiply a well-designed one.
He's a father of four, a devout Christian, and an instrument-rated pilot with a lifelong habit of building things — from embedded systems to agentic software. Jason splits his time between Carlsbad, California and Roswell, Georgia, and works with clients nationally.
